This sweet milk glass lamp has been transformed. Antoinette is the soft pink paint on the milk glass, Old White is painted on the metal base. A metal shade frame is covered with strips of pastel fabric, trimmed with hand crocheted lace and a sweet pink flower. Very girly, very sweet.
At our recent Paint Conference for stockist who sell Chalk Paint® Annie said she had painted a marble top. We know the paint sticks to everything, but we just had not jumped out there to paint marble. I picked up two marble top tables at a recent estate sale. They have great curvy shape, but looked quite dated. We have painted the bases Graphite and the tops are Paris Grey. Silver gilding wax is applied with soft finger strokes around the curves on the tops and also applied to the handles of end table.
We love how it turned out, don’t you?
Here at The Pink House we look for ways to repurpose and recreate found objects. These faucet handles were rescued from a local scrap yard and the knob was switched out when updating knobs on a door. The piece of wood was the “in between” section of wood on a vanity that we (hubby) took apart to create bedside tables.
This would be a very useful towel bar in a bathroom. The piece is painted with Chalk Paint (R) Decorative Paint by Annie Sloan. The color is Paris Grey.
As always…it’s for sale, $32.00.
